Outreach for Rough Sleepers (OuRS)

Pioneered by BAPA in 2021, Outreach for Rough Sleepers (OuRS) is a social initiative that aims to provide provisional support for the homeless in Singapore. Believe it or not, homelessness is still a prevalent issue amongst our community. Those we have interacted with are often without a home due to various reasons like the lack of family members, fear of being alone in their own home and to eliminate the cost of transportation to their jobs. OuRS conducts monthly distributions to locate these homeless communities in Singapore. Provisions such as insect repellent, toiletries, food and cothing are also distributed to these individuals to help them get by.
